Privacy Policy

This policy describes the small amount of information involved in using this static educational site. The site has no user accounts, payment flow, uploads, analytics, advertising trackers, or form backend.

01

Technical data

Like most hosted websites, the hosting provider may process routine request logs such as IP address, browser and device information, requested URL, date and time, referring page, and security events. These logs support delivery, reliability, and abuse prevention. Jgtowingmiami’s page code does not create a separate visitor profile from them.

02

Cookies and analytics

This build does not set cookies, run an analytics package, use advertising pixels, store browser identifiers, or use local storage. Interactive checklists remain in page memory only and reset when the page is refreshed or closed.

03

Editorial form data

The editorial forms have no web submission endpoint. After local validation and sensitive-data screening, JavaScript prepares a mailto: draft in the visitor’s email application. Nothing is transmitted to or stored by this website. If the visitor reviews and sends that draft, the resulting correspondence is processed by the visitor’s and Jgtowingmiami’s email providers.

04

Information not requested

Do not send plate numbers, tag numbers, account numbers, toll bills, violation numbers, VINs, driver-license information, registration documents, payment details, passwords, identity documents, or vehicle photographs. There is no upload function.

05

Retention

Editorial email that a visitor chooses to send may be retained for up to 24 months to research, answer, document, or correct a publication, then deleted or anonymized unless a longer period is required for security, legal, or recordkeeping purposes. Routine hosting logs are retained under the hosting provider’s operational schedule and are not controlled by page JavaScript.

06

Access and deletion requests

To ask about editorial correspondence or request deletion, email [email protected] from the address used in the correspondence. Do not include new sensitive trip, account, vehicle, or payment details in the request.

07

External official sources

Some editorial pages link to official public resources. Following a link takes you to another organization’s website, where that organization’s privacy practices apply. The links are citations, not service referrals or endorsements.

Policy changes

If data practices change, this policy and its effective date should be updated before the new practice begins. Material changes should not be hidden behind vague language.
